Transparent PC emergency stop and switch cover supplied as one set, accepting padlock shackles up to 8 mm. Its horseshoe-shaped retrofit base works on raised nameplates and off-centre rotary knobs, and it accommodates buttons up to 50 mm diameter and 45 mm tall. In lockout/tagout practice, electrical lockouts prevent switches, buttons or plugs from being operated or connected while equipment is isolated for maintenance.

Choosing Electrical and Pneumatic Lockouts
These devices isolate plugs, wall switches, push buttons, emergency stops and air supply connections that cannot be locked with a breaker or valve lockout.
- Measure plug size and cable diameter before choosing a plug lockout.
- Switch and push-button covers must fit the panel cut-out and leave no way to operate the control.
- For pneumatic lines, lock the quick-disconnect and release stored pressure before work.
- Isolating a control circuit alone is not energy isolation; lock the main energy source whenever the procedure requires it.
