Pneumatic quick-disconnect lockout made of engineering plastic nylon PA for 12, 13 and 16 mm screwed joints. It isolates pneumatic power without installing a straight interlock valve, at lower cost and with more convenience. In lockout/tagout practice, pneumatic lockouts isolate compressed air energy so equipment cannot be reconnected to the air supply during maintenance.

Choosing Electrical and Pneumatic Lockouts
These devices isolate plugs, wall switches, push buttons, emergency stops and air supply connections that cannot be locked with a breaker or valve lockout.
- Measure plug size and cable diameter before choosing a plug lockout.
- Switch and push-button covers must fit the panel cut-out and leave no way to operate the control.
- For pneumatic lines, lock the quick-disconnect and release stored pressure before work.
- Isolating a control circuit alone is not energy isolation; lock the main energy source whenever the procedure requires it.
