ENV-03 // POLLUTION CONTROL PERMITS
Technical Approvals (Pertek) & Hazardous Waste Storage Details (Rintek)
Technical approvals for discharging wastewater or emissions, the operational feasibility letter (SLO) that follows, and technical details for hazardous (B3) waste storage. We build the documents around your actual treatment systems and storage facilities, so what is approved can be built, operated, and inspected.
WHO IT IS FOR
Facilities that discharge wastewater to water bodies or emit to air from point sources, and facilities that store hazardous waste before handing it to a licensed party.
WHEN YOU NEED IT
A new or modified wastewater treatment plant, stack, or hazardous waste store, a condition in the environmental approval, or a finding from supervision or PROPER.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
- Technical study and design review of the discharge, emission, or storage facility
- Pertek or Rintek document in the required format
- Support through submission and technical verification
- SLO preparation after construction, where required
- Operating and monitoring procedures for the approved facility
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Process description and waste, wastewater, or emission data
- Design drawings of the treatment system or storage facility
- Laboratory results and monitoring records
- Environmental approval document and its conditions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you design the treatment plant itself?
We review the design against the technical requirements and prepare the approval documents. Detailed engineering and construction are carried out by your engineering contractor, and we coordinate with them.
Can wastewater and hazardous waste be handled together?
They are separate approvals with their own requirements, but we usually prepare them in parallel so data collection and site visits are shared.
