WHO IT IS FOR
Companies employing at least 100 workers or with a high hazard potential must apply SMK3 under PP 50/2012, Article 5. ISO 45001 is voluntary, but parent companies, customers, and lenders often require it.
WHEN YOU NEED IT
Reaching the 100-worker or high-hazard threshold, a parent-company or customer requirement, a tender, or preparation for the external SMK3 audit carried out by an audit body appointed under Permenaker 26/2014.

- Time from supervisors and workers for interviews and field verification
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does ISO 45001 certification replace SMK3?
No. SMK3 is a statutory requirement under PP 50/2012, assessed by an audit body appointed under Permenaker 26/2014. ISO 45001 is a voluntary international standard certified by a certification body. The two overlap heavily, so we build one system that can be assessed against both.
Does Nusa Safety issue the SMK3 certificate?
No. The external SMK3 audit is carried out by an independent appointed audit body, and the certificate is issued by the authority. Our role is to prepare your system and support you through the audit. We do not guarantee an audit result.
Can the work be done in English?
Working sessions and reports can be in English, Indonesian, or both. Documents to be submitted to Indonesian authorities are prepared in Indonesian.
