Removable Concrete Anchor, 18-19 mm Hole
Code: AFA930301
An anchorage point that is installed with one hand through a pre-drilled hole and can be removed without damaging the structure or the anchor, so it can be reused. Pulling the eye draws the flanges in so the anchor passes through the hole; releasing it fans the flanges out against the outer part of the concrete wall to hold the anchor in place.

BUYER'S GUIDE
Selecting a Safe Anchorage Point
The anchorage is the A in the ABCD of fall protection: the point on an independent structure that secures the fall protection device or lanyard. Anchor devices are classified under EN 795:2012 as Type A to E, and every anchor must be strong enough to hold a user in a fall.
- A single anchor point should be rated to at least 12kN for one person; for two people on one anchor the minimum is 21 kN, and no more than two people may use a single anchor.
- Attach at or above shoulder level and as directly overhead as possible, because a low or side anchor increases the fall distance and can cause a pendulum swing into obstacles.
- If unsure of the load rating, consult an engineer; good anchorages are I-beams and other solid fixtures, and you should never anchor to cable hangers, light fixtures or anything not designed for a sudden heavy load.
- Make sure the anchor is approved by the employer or an engineer and check it for damage before connecting; tag out a damaged anchor until a competent person has inspected it.
- Only authorised personnel may install and certify roofing anchors.
