BRUTE T-Line Twin Lifeline System, 12 m Span, Wire Rope (without Retrieval)

KStrongHorizontal LifelinePPE

Code: AFA945012

BRUTE T-Line 2-in-1 twin lifeline system with a 12 m span, combining a lifeline and fall arrest system in one unit. Two self-retracting lifelines on separate spools work independently and equalise in a fall, eliminating the pendulum swing and reducing the fall arrest distance. It allows the user to move horizontally and vertically and to bypass obstacles such as poles and pipes. The 12 m system can be quickly installed by the user without any tensioning or adjustments. Anchor point hardware is sold separately.

Prices are sent in a quotation once you submit your cart, adjusted to your quantity and delivery location.

Key features

  • Twin lifeline system: two self-retracting lifelines on separate spools that lock automatically at the onset of a fall
  • Cable triangulation removes the pendulum effect and reduces the fall arrest distance
  • Hands-free movement both horizontally and vertically, across multiple levels
  • Stay connected while moving around overhead obstructions such as pipelines, steelwork and gantry cranes
  • Low fall arrest distance, suitable where clearance is limited
  • Ends can be mounted at different heights for sloping roofs, beams and other structures
  • Suitable for permanent installation or portable, temporary use

BUYER'S GUIDE

Horizontal and Vertical Lifelines

When a worker moves continuously along an elevated level, a horizontal lifeline rigged between two anchorage points at the same height gives continuous anchorage and limits swing injuries. Temporary anchorage lines are engineered to be installed and removed easily for short-term jobs, horizontally or vertically.

  1. A horizontal lifeline acts as a mobile anchorage for lanyards, SRLs or fall arrest blocks as the worker moves sideways.
  2. Vertical anchorage lines use a rope grab that locks onto the line and arrests the fall immediately; connect the energy absorber between the harness front or rear attachment and the rope grab with a karabiner.
  3. When using rope and rope grabs, always make sure the line is taut between the anchor points.
  4. Size the end anchorages correctly: a horizontal lifeline needs 12 kN for one person plus 1 kN for each additional person, and end anchorages should take twice the anticipated load.
  5. Systems such as the T-Line combine lifeline, fall arrest and rescue in one unit, cancel the pendulum effect and can span up to 24m without intermediate supports.
  6. Fixed line systems should be inspected, repaired and revalidated annually.
