A BRUTE load arrestor designed as a secondary safety back-up for overhead loads, used with a primary lifting device or support such as a hoist or a permanently suspended load. If the primary support fails, it automatically stops the load from falling, preventing damage to the load and protecting people below. This model has a 400 kg maximum load capacity and 15m of galvanized steel wire rope (5.8mm). Cable load arrestors are not PPE.

Preventing Dropped Tools at Height
Many tools carried for work at height have no built-in or prescribed tether point. The KStrong Kaptor range of tool tethers makes secure connections for these tools, with different tether options to suit the shape of each tool.
- The Kaptor system has three parts: tool attachments, tool lanyards and tool cases.
- Choose the tether option to suit the tool's shape and weight; tool attachments are listed with their rated tool weight.
- Q Wrap self-bonding tape is used with tool attachment lanyards to create a load rated anchor point on tools without one.
- Tool buckets with a closure system keep tools stored and within reach while preventing accidental drops and the risk of falling objects.
